Full Understanding of Software License Ageements - "Disagree"

Death seems to be all around.
more than I am used to
baseball players dying are more famous and entertaining
and much easier
than
Children dying.

I am no different
except I know more
which means I am more ignorant
everyone seems worried to me
except for Sally
Sally.

I am more familiar with the ways of men.

and in the ways of men I am free

in the majesty of ignorance I am truly free
like the young french rapper.

I am sitting here at my table
at my house in the woods
a fire
a good, working table in front of me.

I am by myself, thinking about what it means to not be involved as an owner of Ya Dude -
Nectar's was 6.5 years - actually more - and I will be spouting, leaking, pouring, gushing and bleeding the story in the next few weeks.

I feel so much
I feel good
I feel fat
I can feel my belly laying over the top of my pants,
I realize my age
and the effort of keeping in shape
and I allow my own scolding
in lieu of
that effort.

I "didn't agree" on a software package license just now.  I read the first few sections and I didn't have to finish.  I disagreed.

They require that you own nothing of their content but they own all of your content.  Read this if you want to get to the essence of it, I blew it up for ya!

Pure Digital grants You a personal, nontransferable, nonsublicensable, nonexclusive license to use this software and accompanying documentation (collectively "Software") for your personal use only, in object code form only, and only in accordance with the accompanying documentation.

Ok - that is what your rules are.
Check out what their rules are.

You hereby grant to Pure Digital a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform all of your Content, with the right of Pure Digital to grant sublicenses, in connection with Pure Digital’s websites and Pure Digital’s (and its successor's and assigns’) business.  You also hereby grant each user of Pure Digital’s websites a non-exclusive license to access your Content through the websites, and to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display and perform such Content as may be permitted through the websites’ functionality.

Yup.

They want to own and make money off of your content.  By the way this license is from a company that processes and displays webvideo.  I bought a mini HD recorder a the apple store.  It came with software and an agreement of which two of the sections are copied above...
They want it all and they want to give you nothing.  What do they think they gain, what is the excuse for the long term?

So I hit "disagree" and the software didn't install.

And I think that's the lesson.
Sometimes you have to hit "disagree" and sometimes you don't get to use the software.
