Troubled Times and a Choice

"Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.”

"Of all the offspring of Time, Error is the most ancient, and is so old and familiar an acquaintance, that Truth, when discovered, comes upon most of us like an intruder, and meets the intruder's welcome.

Charles Mackay - 1841 ish

How true these quotes both are...and how appropriate.  The herd today cannot hear the quiet screaming of the children as they are trampled because it is they who are trampling and yelling and screaming with fervor and poison glee...

And what is so wrong about error - my god we all think we are gods, we all think we make no mistakes...we all try so hard to be someone who we think we should be instead of being who we are.  We do not allow ourselves to recognize the failure that is a gift so that we may learn and gain true knowledge and true power.  We have the ability to access our true knowledge and power every second of every day...all we have to do is acknowledge our mistakes and the responsibility of our choices.

Tonight was a great night - as they have all been lately -

although I am tired I am running off the energy that I feel from people, an energy that is out there in the world, right now it's electric - people are afraid but some people are joyous and some people are walking dead...

There are troubled times coming, times that will be nothing like anything we have ever witnessed and on the winds of these times will ride both opportunity and wisdom as well as death and destruction.  Each will be equally available and equally as powerful.  One may be less familiar, but then that is why I write, to show people what is possible...to show myself what is possible.

which will you choose?
